My latest design!! Please favorite and share!!
I’m a HUUUUUGE The Walking Dead Fan!!! I designed a bat and a hat based on Lucille, and have released the hat pattern for free on my Crochet Rox Ravelry page. The bat stands 22 inches tall, and 5 inches around. I know I’ll be cuddling with it during the premier while wearing my hat. After finding out who did “get Lucilled” I am going to send the actor their own Lucille hat and bat lol!! I really hope it isn’t Glen!!!

Happy hooking everyone!!
Well, obviously the baby in them!!! I’m obsessed with baby shoes, since my daughter gave birth to darling little Mackenzie Marie on February 10th. Look at this precious little girl!!! Gramma is in love, and since her mommy is a shoe hoarder (seriously, my daughter has HUNDREDS of pairs of shoes) I had to make some really sweet ones to start off her own collection/hoard.
Now I’ve already made a BUNCH for her, little bunny slippers, little converse high tops, tiny mary janes, some boots etc. I thought I was done, and then I saw this free pattern today. Quick Crochet Booties with a bow from Earth Baby Crochet.
I am so excited to make M & M a few pairs in different colors!! I can’t wait to share some pics of her in them!!
What’s on your hook today?
Edited to add: WOW!!!! In the first 18 hours, my BB8 pattern was downloaded 355 times has made it to number 8 on the top 20 patterns, and as high as number 3 on the top 20 Free Crochet patterns on Ravelry! I can honestly say I did not expect that!! Thank you all so much!
I’ve been seeing him everywhere online, and I wanted to make some to donate to Ellie’s Hats. All of the patterns I found were made with dc stitches. I like using hdc with my hats, so I wrote this one up. It’s pretty easy, and my testers did an amazing job on their hats, as you can see in the slide show.
You will need worsted weight yarn in white, orange gray and black, and the hook size depends on the hat size you want to make. I included a picture of the back of the hat, so you can see how I avoid the big seam, by alternating my begining inc stitches.
You can download a free copy of the pattern in my Ravelry shop. I do ask if you download it would you favorite it please? That helps bump it up in the search engine
If you make one, add if to your projects on Ravelry, and I’ll add your photos as featured photos. I would love to see your hats. 🙂
